Animal Lodge is Lancashire’s Premier Pet Holiday Home, set in approximately 10 acres of privately owned countryside on the edge of the Ribble Valley.
Animal Lodge Boarding Kennels originally opened in the 1970s and was purchased by the existing owner, Hilary Yates, in 2005.
In accordance with new legislation relating to the Licensing of Activities Involving Animals from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA), Hyndburn Borough Council have awarded Animal Lodge with a 5 star rating
We offer Doggy Daycare and accommodation for up to 65 dogs, 40 cats plus small pets and birds. All pet accommodation exceeds space requirements and benefits from central heating. Each cat chalet boasts indoor and outdoor space, with scratching posts, hiding places and climbing trees. Our dog kennels also exceed the required dimensions and also have indoor space and an outdoor run.
Outside we have three large field areas for exercising and playing with your pets including free running if required and also a river for those who want to get wet and muddy. The revamped ménage has created a great secure run for the smaller dogs as well as a wet weather play area and holding area during busy change over periods.
Animal Lodge has working relationships with all of the local vets, which means your pet will often see their own vet if poorly whilst in our care.
